Boyer Nature Preserve
Nearly 10 acres of undisturbed woods is located along the Little Conestoga Creek in Manor Township, Lancaster County. The Boyer Nature Preserve is replete with songbirds that use the variety of trees, such as silver maple, tulip poplar, black walnuts and white oaks, as cover and find food near the stream. Hundreds of years ago, this part of Lancaster County was known to be the location of one of the largest Native American settlements east of the Mississippi. Susquehannock and Seneca Indians probably waged conflicts on part of this preserve.

Restrictions: No bikes, fishing, alcohol, hunting, camping or fires. Pets must be leashed.
