Homewood Nature Preserve
Homewood Nature Preserve, located in Paradise Township, Lancaster County, is a slice of paradise with a variety of former cropland and mature forest areas. Eshleman Run, a tributary of Pequea Creek and the Conestoga River, meanders along the eastern border of the 40-acre property.

This reserve contains 30 animal and 25 bird species that have been encouraged by the establishment of new natural habitats. The site also features more than 115 plant species, too, and is managed to promote a natural succession of wildflowers and native plants that are nurtured in reforested areas.

Fishing is permitted in season.
