Tucquan Glen Nature Preserve
Tucquan Glen is a 336-acre near-pristine paradise that is representative of what the area was like centuries ago and the reason why “Penn’s Woods” was such an apt description of the colony when it was established in 1681.

The Tucquan Creek and its tributary Clark Run are listed as Pennsylvania Wild and Scenic Rivers, which are protected for the benefit and enjoyment of present and future generations.

Tucquan Glen, in Martic Township, Lancaster County, features tumbling waterfalls, a mix of hardwood trees, such as American beech, black birch and oak; plants, such as rhododendron, viburnum, wildflowers and witch hazel; and a variety of animal, bird and reptile life.

Fishing and hunting are permitted in season.

Restrictions: No bikes, alcohol, hunting, fishing, camping or fires. Pets must be leashed.
