Codorus State Park
Codorus State Park, located just three miles southeast of Hanover, York County, is a rustic wilderness consisting of 3,329 acres. The forests of Codorus stand in tall contrast to the surrounding farmlands. Codorus is an excellent place to observe waterfowl and warblers during their spring and fall migrations at Lake Marburg, a 1,275-acre lake in the park that offers 26 miles of shoreline. The park offers year-round outdoor recreation such as picnicking, camping, hiking, sledding, mountain biking, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, swimming, boating, and snowmobiling.
