Conewago Trail
A large part of Pennsylvania history is reflected in railroading. Lancaster County, for example, features the Pennsylvania Railroad Museum, in Strasburg, and many former rail line sites, like the nearby Lancaster Junction Recreation Trail, that have been reclaimed for public use and adapted for recreation.

The Conewago Recreation Trail, located in northern Lancaster County, features a five-mile trail that formerly was the Cornwall-Lebanon rail line. It follows the Conewago Creek through scenic farmland and woodlands and features a fishing pond.

The graded, level trail is convenient for hikers, joggers, bicyclists, horseback riders and cross-country skiers.

Restrictions: No motorized vehicles, alcohol or hunting.
