Emily, a York County native, discovered an appreciation for the natural world early in life. Her post-secondary studies in American history and strengthening diverse communities brought her to Susquehanna Heritage. Emily uses her experience on and around the river and her curiosity for the past each day in her role as Visitor Services Representative. At Columbia Crossing River Trails Center, she develops and leads riverfront tours, coordinates the building’s volunteer team, assists with programs, and builds lasting connections with visitors to the region.

When she isn’t helping visitors at Columbia Crossing, Emily can be found exploring the river region on foot, by bicycle, or by boat; she also enjoys playing the piano and autoharp.
