paul-nevinPaul joined our team as Susquehanna Heritage’s Visitor Services Manager in 2014. Now as manager of the Zimmerman Center for Heritage he oversees visitor services, programming, and education aspects of the Zimmerman Center. Paul coordinates visitor programs and exhibits at the Zimmerman Center for Heritage along with leading the charge to expand the Zimmerman Center’s reach and partnership with the National Park Service. A Penn State graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Paul is a local history enthusiast and designed the guided tour of our historic house and interpretive materials to enhance the visitor experience.

Paul and his family have made the river area their home for over thirty years. He has immersed himself in the history and heritage of the Susquehanna as it flows through our region. The leading authority on Susquehanna River rock art, Paul is a caretaker and conducts tours of the ancient American Indian petroglyphs located in the river below Safe Harbor Dam. He serves on the board of the Society for Pennsylvania Archaeology and is president of the local chapter. Paul is also a talented craftsman who specializes in restoration of historic structures.
