The Susquehanna’s Native Landscape – Visions of the Past Remain
Cindy Chance, National Park Service
Residents and visitors alike are enthralled with the unspoiled landscape of the lower Susquehanna River. Standing at one of its overlooks, one can easily imagine a time when it was the heartland of the Susquehannock people. National Park Service cultural anthropologist Cindy Chance will provide insight into why the NPS considers the Susquehanna Riverlands a landscape that can help in our understanding of the Native Americans who made this area their home.
Each Lecture $10 per person
