Produced and premiered by SGHA, Stories of the Land is the first-ever orientation film that showcases the exceptionally rich heritage shared by Lancaster and York Counties. The film introduces viewers to the vitality of our region’s unique towns and countryside, how the area played a role in the quest for freedom, the ingenuity of our people, the richness of our land’s bounty and the beauty of our natural resources.
The film features and original soundtrack performed by the Lancaster and York Symphony Orchestras. Stories of the Land is also available for viewing at SGHA’s office, the Zimmerman Center for Heritage. SGHA worked with a local studio, Aurora Films, to create the project.
