A visit to the Susquehanna River provides many opportunities to learn about the natural, cultural, and historical heritage of the region. A feature of the Susquehanna River Water Trail as it flows through York and Lancaster Counties is a network of twenty-one interpretive history panels installed at key access points. The stories shared on these panels provide an overview of the unique history of the Susquehanna, its towns, and its people.
