#FilbertGeocacheFun Introduction to Geocaching Workshop

July 20, 2019 at 10:30 am - 12:00 pm

Isaac’s Restaurant has been creating some outdoor fun this summer! Their mascot Filbert has been busy placing geocaches in local parks and along trails. On July 1st the first clues on how to find them will be released on their website. Isaac’s has teamed up with Susquehanna Heritage to get you geocache-ready. Join us at Columbia Crossing to get started with this fun way to experience the outdoors.  Learn about this fun past-time and go hunting for locations and treasures! This workshop will start at Columbia Crossing with an introduction to geocaching and how to use hand-held GPS units. After that, it is off to hunt for caches in Columbia River Park. A limited number of GPS units will be available for use during the program.

Register by e-mailing ascholz@susquehannaheritage.org or calling 717-449-5607.
