Native Winters – Zimmerman Center Heritage Lecture Series

December 11 at 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

$10

Winter is a time when many of us head indoors, turn up the heat, and settle down with a good book. Have you ever wondered how our area’s Native Peoples spent their winters? The Zimmerman Center’s Paul Nevin will offer a glimpse of winter life in the days of longhouses and bearskin blankets. Learn how the indigenous people of this land survived and celebrated this time of the year.

Paul Nevin manages in the Zimmerman Center for Heritage, and is a past president of the Society for Pennsylvania Archaeology. He has had a lifelong interest in, and has pursued many facets of, Native American culture.

Advance registration is required! Doors open at 6:00 PM. Call 717-252-0229 ext 7 with any questions.
