Pollinator Planting

May 19 at 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Help us plant 300 flowers for native wildlife! Join Susquehanna Heritage on Sunday May 19th from 12 pm – 4 pm in planting a riverside pollinator garden. Pollinators such as butterflies and bees rely on nectar-producing flowers for food and habitat. Learn how to attract butterflies, bees, and more to your own backyard. The planting will take place at the Zimmerman Center for Heritage, 4 miles south of Wrightsville. Garden gloves and some tools will be provided, but volunteers may bring their own as well. Open to nature lovers of all ages!

Registration is recommended but not required. Call Amy at 717-252-0229 ext. 1 to register or email her at akochel@susquehannaheritage.org.
