Zimmerman Center Heritage Lecture Series: Building the Dritt House
April 10 at 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Building the Dritt House
If you couldn’t get tickets last time, here’s your chance!
The Zimmerman Center for Heritage occupies one of the oldest existing homes in York County. Built around 1750, the imposing stone structure overlooking the Susquehanna has for years been known locally as the Dritt Mansion. Its unusually large rooms and high ceilings are certainly impressive. So, just how did its builders go about constructing it? This presentation will focus on the house’s architectural elements, what went into creating them, and how the house was given new life through the Zimmerman family’s restoration efforts.
April 10th – 6:30 – 8:30 PM at The Zimmerman Center for Heritage
Each Lecture $10 per person
